Brock Lesnar was seen as someone with huge potential by the WWE while still in college, and was immediately signed to a lucrative contract to join the WWE's developmental program. The investment paid off as Lesnar became a huge star and the youngest WWE champion in history after defeating The Rock at SummerSlam in a ceremonious 'passing of the torch'.
Lesnar soon left the WWE and a huge contract to pursue a career in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings, which didn't work out. He is now making his mark in the MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) world where he is the current UFC Heavyweight Champion
