Brock Lesnar was seen as someone with huge potential by the WWE while
still in college, and was immediately signed to a lucrative contract to
join the WWE's developmental program. The investment paid off as Lesnar
became a huge star and the youngest WWE champion in history after defeating
The Rock at SummerSlam in a ceremonious 'passing of the torch'.
Lesnar soon left the WWE and a huge contract to pursue a career in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings, which didn't work out. He is now making his mark in the MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) world.
